CLUB NAME: Conejo Valley Cloggers ESTABLISHED: September 1989 LOCATION, TIME: 1600 Marview Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 6:45 10:00 pm. Beginner Classes start Jan., March, June, Sept. CUER / INSTRUCTOR: Julie Morris FORMED: Julie was teaching clogging in the western end of Ventura County and a group of her students from the Thousand Oaks area put their passion for clogging to work. They secured a place to have classes nearby, and brought their favorite teacher to them. SPECIAL EVENTS: One event is the yearly Anniversary Dance and potluck lunch at the end of Sept. It is held on a Sunday afternoon outdoors in a covered picnic area beside a stream and lovely shade trees. TRADITIONS: The Ornament Exchange Game at the year-end holiday dance has now been played for so many years it has become a tradition and everyone looks forward to it. For the last several years the holiday dance has incorporated a food donation to the Thousand Oaks food bank, MANNA.
