LOCATION, TIME: 1600 Marview Drive, Thousand Oaks, CA 6:45 10:00 pm. Beginner Classes start Jan., March, June, Sept.
CUER / INSTRUCTOR: Julie Morris
FORMED: Julie was teaching clogging in the western end of Ventura County and a group of her students from the Thousand Oaks area put their passion for clogging to work. They secured a place to have classes nearby, and brought their favorite teacher to them.
SPECIAL EVENTS: One event is the yearly Anniversary Dance and potluck lunch at the end of Sept. It is held on a Sunday afternoon outdoors in a covered picnic area beside a stream and lovely shade trees.
TRADITIONS: The Ornament Exchange Game at the year-end holiday dance has now been played for so many years it has become a tradition and everyone looks forward to it. For the last several years the holiday dance has incorporated a food donation to the Thousand Oaks food bank, MANNA.
EXHIBITION TEAM: Current information on joining the exhibition team or engaging them to perform can be learned at the Conejo Valley Cloggers website CVclogger.com.
WHAT ELSE?: Conejo Valley Cloggers have their own website www.CVclogger.com. The contents change every month with the publication of each issue of the club newsletter The Tap Rap. We invite all readers to visit us on the web (or come and clog with us at any of our events).
