Dr. Saltman (Julie) is an award-winning retired sociology professor (Kent State University, Ohio) and extensively published author, whose paintings reflect her deep interest in people and places, issues of peace and justice, and local and global life. Her watercolor paintings are in private collections throughout the country and were exhibited locally in a five-year display of five of her works at the Bank of America, Del Mar Highlands Town Center on Del Mar Heights Road.
