In 1909 the Big Event in North Dakota is Alfred and Sina's Wedding.
Sina, the youngest daughter Mr. & Mrs. Kristian Lier Lunde (left), would like to announce her November 9th, 1909 marriage to Alfred Lindseth the oldest son of Knut & Petrine Lindseth (right). The wedding took place in North Dakota where both Alfred & Sina recently took up residence.
Neither of the couple's parents were able to attend the wedding as Sina's parents were deceased and Air Routes between Norway and the US had not yet been established (about 50 years away). Also, the November Icebergs in the Atlantic made a steamship trip for Alfred's parents out of the question.
Two of Sina's brothers Arnie (left) & Anton (right) Lunde were pictured with Alfred & Sina (right) at the wedding. Anton and his wife Magnhild (Bye) Lunde lived on a farm near 
Edmonton Canada. Arnie assisted on the farm & with the first children, then returned to Norway. Alfred & Sina's official wedding picture is shown on the left.
