The following pages are from pictures taken by Walter Osterberg in Korea in 1945 & 1946.
Walt was in training for the invasion of Japan, but following their surrender,
he became a part of the Post WW2 Army of occupation. I wonder how much of the structures
he pictured were destroyed during the Korean War. I think I saw the bridge destroyed early
in the war on a History Channel documentary about the Korean War.
